Consumer News Mom is bornFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting the consumer stories I’ve exposed the last 16 years. It’s an honor to tell your stories. Several years ago, I launched my blog. It’s changed a lot and has a new name with a renewed focus.

New beginning

As a new mom, I’ve decided to make some changes. You’ll see more posts here about consumer trends, technology, money-saving sites, and parenting issues. I’m embarking on a new challenge — raising a child and building this website.

This change will give me the flexibility I need to be a better mom. You’re all so kind and ask about my daughter all the time. You also remind me to enjoy every moment because the milestones pass by in a flash. Thank you for such great advice. I feel like the last eight months have flown by at warp speed. I can’t believe my daughter is already eight months old. That’s why now is the time for me to find a new way to write about consumer trends that matter to all of us while showing my daughter the love and support she needs. I’ll be doing the same thing I’ve done for the last 16 years. It’s just a different format. For now, it will all be right here.

This is not an end, but a new beginning. One that I couldn’t be more excited to embark on with you. I’m still your go to reporter for consumer issues, ripoffs, technology, and parenting. Keep the ideas coming. One tip really can lead to big change.

Your tips helped expose wrongdoing

Your tips have exposed businesses, shut them down, and put owners in jail. My goal is always to get action for you. Whether it’s a $100 refund or a class action lawsuit. Together we can make a difference. It took a joint effort to pressure car manufacturers into doing something about a sticky, shiny, safety issue staring back at South Florida drivers. Five million sticky dashboards will now be replaced. While the repairs are happening a little slower than we’d all like, you can bet I’ll stay on top of this issue.

Consumer News Mom

I’ve been your Consumer Watchdog, Consumer Reporter, Call for Action reporter, and Contact 16 reporter. Now, I’m a mom. I’ll never lose that consumer passion. I’ll always be a mom. This new name is a blend of the two things I dedicate my life to — consumer issues and my daughter. Together we’ll continue this journey.

My mission is still the same. For those of you who know me from TV, pick up your tablet, phone, or computer rather than your remote control. It’s where I’ll be for now writing about what I’ve always written about — you — the consumer.

If you need high-quality blog content for your business site, let me know. I freelance write for companies across the country creating professionally written content.

Thank you, and keep sharing your consumer issues here and on Facebook and Twitter.
